At 10 am on September 28th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the "Intelligent Equipment Integration and Development Science and Technology Innovation Center Project" (hereinafter referred to as "Science and Technology Innovation Center"), which was independently invested and constructed by Zhengli Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the project site.

The "Intelligent Equipment Integrated Development Science and Technology Innovation Center Project" is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Zhongshan Avenue and Shengye Road in Pingtan, with a total area of about 30 acres and a total investment of 120 million yuan.It is planned to construct multiple facilities including research and development office buildings, comprehensive training buildings, and specialized special-purpose factories.The project has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with six universities and the Experimental Zone Investment Promotion Committee, providing solid support for the project's production.

After the completion of the science and technology innovation center, it will strengthen the cooperation between the experimental area and well-known universities and research institutes in the field of marine science and technology in China, build a center for the research and development and transformation of water equipment technology, carry out equipment testing, assembly, communication and other activities, introduce professional institutions to cooperate and organize qualification training in marine engineering, professional skills training for crew members and divers, and promote talent cultivation.

The project will also form a close collaborative development with the Lantai Emergency Rescue Base to jointly build a comprehensive strategic framework for the southeast coastal waters and the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, covering multiple fields such as maritime emergency rescue, maritime new energy construction and operation and maintenance, as well as marine technology research and development innovation.
